Recently, I've been quite interested in bettering myself, and my life circumstances.

I recently came across some pretty cool quotes and excerpts that have fueled my fire and kept it burning stronger and stronger everyday. I will now share them with you.

"I'd give much more than I'd ever ask for..."- Keane
I feel as though I need this little clip to take a more deeply rooted role in my life. I need to be willing to give more than I would ask another to give for my personal sake. I don't think I am selfish, I just know that there is room for improvement in my life.

"One of the most serious human defects in all ages is procrastination, an unwillingness to accept personal responsibilities now."- Spencer W. Kimball: ''The Miracle of Forgiveness'
It is so obvious, this one. Look at our world today! People make choices and then try and toss the negative consequences on others. Nobody takes accountability for their actions, and people play the victim too often. What ever happened to choice and accountability?

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness?"- Rom. 6:13, 15-16 "Whosoever commiteth sin is the servant of sin" -John 8:34
Both of these scriptures are sweet! They are also both found in the Bible, so nobody can say that they only apply to Mormons. The sins we commit can become rooted so quickly that eventually you will be a slave of that sin without even realizing it. In the scriptures, it talks about no one person can serve two masters... either you hate the one and love the other, or visa versa. That makes total sense. Satan and God are two masters that lie on the very opposite sides of the spectrum. Inbetween them lies all of us. We are all fence sitters until we reach the ago of accountability, where we are able to hop back and forth over that fence to either side... but you can only ever be on one side at a time. There are so many things to be a servant of, why not be a servant of the Lord?

The last one, is just a thought.

Sacrifice is to be in constant pursuit of noble causes.
